If You're Going to San--Fran--Cisco!!!!

I traveled to San Francisco for a 3 day weekend. After the past few weeks I've had a nice relaxing trip was in order. The Noodle (Brian) & I caught a flight out Friday morning & landed in this beautiful city. Michael met up with us that evening after flying in from LA where he had been on business all week. It was a great trip needless to say. I got to see my cousin Dana & spend some quality time with her family which is always great. We were also able to hook up with our buddy Eric from the Aids Lifecyle ride. Great trip, great friends & most of all a great family. I am one lucky individual to be surrounded by such amazing people.
So we arrived in San Francisco & my cousin Dana & Jamie really made us feel special. They took time out of their busy schedule's to take Brian and I out on their yacht. Like an idiot I forgot to get a picture of this bad boy, but you can see a small side glimpse of it as we are headed towards the Bay Bridge. It is 51 feet long and has sleeping quarters.
Here is Mr. B with Dana & her youngest Lauren (aka Lulu or Loopie).
Great shot of the skyline with the Trans America tower in the center.
Are my cousin's children beautiful or what???? They take after their mom and dad obviously. You won't find a better looking couple. :)
Here we have Brian, Dana & myself over in Sausalito. Evidently every Friday they have a street fair & it was packed with people everywhere.
Give me some ATTITUDE!!!! Here I am with my girls Bailey & Brooke showing off our cool shades. Something tells me these 2 will be walking the runways of New York & Paris in the future. They've got the look down, wouldn't you agree?
Brian and I with Sausalito in the background. Talk about a beautiful day. The weather was perfect.
Isn't this a great shot of all the sail boats with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background???
Great shot of Brian as the sun is peaking out of the clouds. Notice the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. It is funny how one minute it would be perfectly sunny & then the next you would have clouds.
The lighting was perfect for this shot of the sailboat.
Here I am with Jake. You can't tell since he had on his life vest, but I got him a USC Trojans sweatshirt. Dana & Jamie had told me how much of a fan he was of the team & Reggie Bush. Of course I wish he loved Auburn, but nothing wrong with pulling for your team that you live close by. Hopefully when he's older he will be able to attend school there.
Pier 39 & all of the sea lions. They were everywhere.
Matlock finally arrives. I can't remember the name of the place we ate that night, but it was great. Eric gave Michael some great picks on restaurants.
Me, Brian & Michael enjoying a nice evening on the town.
Here comes the trolley car. Every time I see one of these I can't help but think of Mr. Rogers neighborhood as a kid. Ding Ding!!!!Lombard Street in San Fran.

No caption need. This photo cracks me up. Priceless!!!!!Michael, Brian, Eric & myself enjoying brunch. Eric is our friend whom we met on the Lifecycle ride. Great seeing you again buddy. Come to Denver soon to see us.
You can't go to San Francisco and not have a nice shot of the Golden Gate Bridge. Brian and I walked half way across the bridge & back.
Brian and I on the bridge looking back towards the city.

Jeff's Eldoro Bike Race

AND THEY'RE OFF. Go Jeff Go!!! I met Cammie & Jeff up in Eldoro to watch one of Jeff's mountain bike races. Here Jeff is at the start of the race. He ended up finishing 6th in his age group, but remains in 1st place with the points standing.
Here I am with my girl Cammie. Lord, we talked and talked and talked while Jeff was racing across the mountain.
Someone needs a shower & it is not me :). This is one reason I like road biking so much more than mountain biking. It is nice to be relatively clean after a ride instead of covered in mud.
