Craziness in Breckenridge

So I really should have warned the locals that I was bringing some friends to Breckenridge this past weekend. Lord a mercy, Friday night was crazy. My friend Colin is originally from Breck and took us to some of his old stomping grounds. We all had a blast & definitely need to do this again before the ski season is over.Never get a drunk to take your picture :O) The boys in tow from the left are Bobby, Phil, myself, Peter & Colin.
Here is Colin with his mother Jan. Jan is a sweet heart and was a real pleasure to be around this past weekend. We met up with she and her boyfriend Chuck on Saturday and skied the mountain with them. They are both very good skiers as is Colin. Maybe one day I'll be as good as them. Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera on the mountain that day. It was a great day on the slopes as it snowed all day. Powder galore!!!!
Here is Peter & Phil with their friend Gretchen at "Downstairs at Eric's". She was so nice & must've wondered where the heck these guys found Colin, Bobby & myself.
"Umm Bobby, what the heck are you doing?" I mean I know I've been working out and my pecs are nice, but save it for later. :O)
I wish this picture was clearer because I really like it. I had just finished giving Colin his first lesson in how to speak "South". He was cracking me up this weekend because he said he wanted to learn how to speak south, not southern. I told him there was a sure fire way of speaking south and that was to spend a week with my family & then he would be fluent. And here we have the money shot people. This is what vodka tonics & shots of Jager & red bull will do for you. Colin had me dying laughing when he said "Look, Bobby & Peter are dirty dancing with a senior citizen". I didn't think it was possible that someone was as evil as me, but I found my match in Colin. Something tells me that Colin was giving Peter & Bobby grief about dancing with the senior citizen. The night was winding down on our night out on the town. We all had a blast, but a few of us paid for it dearly the next day. Who is in before the ski season is over boys??? We must go back.

Phil's promotion

So today was a really special day for my friend Phil. He has put in a lot of hard work this past year with the police force and it has paid off. He was promoted to Sargent & I felt privileged to be included in this ceremony. Another great perk is that I won't have to worry about any more speeding tickets. j/k :)Here is Phil's partner Peter pinning his new badge onto his uniform. Also included are his mom and dad.
Here is Phil with his family & the deputy sheriff on the left & police chief on the right.

Indoor Skydiving

My brother Clark, my nephew Mitchell and I did indoor skydiving while they visited me in Colorado. It was a lot of fun, but is harder than it looks. I saw this the other week on World News tonight and thought this would be fun to do while they were here. Geez, the outfit is awful :)
