Frontier Days 2011

Our buddy Jake puts this trip together to Cheyenne for Frontier Days every year. It is a long day, but so much fun. We had a group of 9 go this year & had the best time. I'm already looking forward to next year. Yee Haw!!!!!!All aboard!!!! Here is our old steam locomotive that takes us to and from Cheyenne Frontier Days. What an absolute blast this day is!!!!
Myself, Travis & Dallas up at the butt crack of dawn to board the train. Train departs promptly at 7am. If you are not on board, you are out of luck. No waiting!!!
All 9 of us before embarking on our trip. From the left we have Dallas, myself, Travis, Joel, Luke, Jake, Dave, Scott & Matt.
Jake having a clutch my pearls moment. :) He is the best & puts this trip on every year. Love it!!!!
We were able to walk right up to these Percherons right in their stables. They start out at 18.1 hands & one was even 19.1 That is very tall for a horse.
Oh how I love Colorado & Wyoming. Beautiful scenery along the way.
Yee Haw!!!! Travis, Dallas, me & Luke during the rodeo.Jake & Joel. Joel is one crazy dude. He says he's from Kansas, but I'm not sure if I'm buying it because he talks with a thicker accent than me.
Dallas showing us why he's got fabulous modeling skills. I mean that boot has never looked better. Is this hat Travis or what?????? Duh!!!!!
Contrary to popular opinion, we did not all shop together. Dallas & I just have impeccable taste, but Luke & Jake did coordinate their outfits.
Two of the best guys I know. I couldn't think of 2 better people to spend a day with at the rodeo.
